Supplier Claim

What is a supplier claim?

A supplier claim is the formal communication of a non-conformity in raw materials, packaging or services received — whether due to quality, quantity, deadlines or documentation. It documents the issue and requires a response or corrective action from the supplier.

Managing claims with traceability protects margins and feeds objective supplier evaluation.
