Non-conformity

What is a non-conformity?

A non-conformity is the failure to meet a quality, food safety or technical specification requirement, detected during production, inspection or an audit. It reflects a deviation between what is obtained and what was set out in the procedure or product spec sheet.

Managing them systematically — recording, root-cause analysis and corrective action — reduces rework, waste and customer complaints.
