Batch traceability
What is batch traceability?
Batch traceability is the ability to identify and track a set of units produced under homogeneous conditions under a single code, both toward their raw materials and toward their destination. It allows the complete history of each batch manufactured to be reconstructed.
It is essential for locating product affected by an incident and carrying out selective recalls instead of mass ones.
