Packaging traceability
What is packaging traceability?
Packaging traceability is the control of the origin and batch of the packaging materials —labels, films, containers or boxes— used in each production run. It allows linking the packaging material with the product and its manufacturing.
It is relevant for allergen management, recyclability and compliance with food contact material regulations.
