Product recall

What is a product recall?

A product recall is the recovery of items already distributed on the market due to a food safety risk or a failure to meet specifications. Its purpose is to prevent the affected product from reaching or remaining in the hands of the consumer.

Strong traceability enables fast, contained recalls, with less economic and reputational impact.
